Hi, I'm Ashleigh

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward in life? As an integrative counsellor, I offer a flexible and personalised approach to therapy, adapting to your unique needs, experiences, and goals.

I believe that no single approach fits everyone. That’s why I take the time to understand your personal story, helping you make sense of difficult thoughts and emotions, explore your past and present, and build healthier ways of coping.

In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to express yourself freely. Together, we’ll work at your pace to uncover deeper insights, develop resilience, and create meaningful change in your life.

How can therapy help?

Life can be challenging, and sometimes it’s hard to manage everything on your own. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, without judgment. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, past trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you make sense of what you're going through and find healthier ways to cope.

Counselling can help you:

  • Understand and manage difficult emotions

  • Break unhelpful patterns of thinking or behaviour

  • Improve your relationships and communication

  • Build confidence and self-esteem

  • Heal from past experiences and move forward with clarity

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. It’s a space for growth, self-discovery, and lasting change. If you're ready to feel more balanced, connected, and in control, therapy can be the first step toward a more fulfilling life. Email: adbcounselling@gmail.com

Online Counselling

Life can be demanding, and finding time for your mental health isn’t always easy. That’s why online therapy is becoming an increasingly popular and effective way to access support, no matter where you are.

Online counselling makes it easier for you to prioritise your emotional wellbeing without the added stress of travel, rigid schedules, or waiting rooms.

  • Flexible Scheduling – Sessions that fit into your life, whether you're at home, at work, or on the go.

  • Comfort of Your Own Space – Attend counselling from a place where you feel safe, relaxed, and in control.

  • Accessible Support –  Busy lifestyles, mobility issues, or living in remote areas.

  • Consistency – No need to cancel sessions due to travel, weather, or other disruptions.

  • Just as Effective – Research shows that online counselling is as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns.

In our online counselling sessions, you'll receive the same compassionate, professional care as you would in a traditional setting. Together, we’ll work to explore your experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and support you in creating meaningful change in your life.

Supervision

As a qualified supervisor, I offer a collaborative, supportive space where you can reflect on your client work, explore challenges, celebrate growth, and stay grounded in ethical, effective practice.

I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, and tailor supervision to meet your individual needs, whether you're in training, newly qualified, or an experienced practitioner. My aim is to create a relationship based on trust, openness, and mutual respect, where you feel safe to bring all aspects of your work.

Supervision is not just about safeguarding, it’s a vital part of our development as therapists. Together, we’ll explore your clinical work, professional identity, and wellbeing, helping you feel resourced, confident, and connected in your practice.

If you're looking for a supportive and reflective supervision space, I'd be happy to have a conversation about how we might work together. Email: adbcounselling@gmail.com

About Me

With a background in oncology counselling, I provided compassionate, personalised support to individuals and families navigating cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and into recovery. Alongside my counselling and supervision work, I also serve as a Mental Health Act Panel Member within the NHS, helping to ensure the care and rights of those detained under the Act are reviewed fairly and thoroughly. Before training as a counsellor, I gained valuable experience working in the financial services industry, which has contributed to my strong communication skills and professional approach.

I am committed to helping people to change their lives, and supporting them to find purpose and fulfilment amongst the chaos of the modern world.

If you’re looking for empathetic and experienced support, I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to find out how I can help you on your journey.
