Hello, welcome to my website.
I offer counselling for adults and young people (16+) with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, shame, body image, trauma, stress, relationship issues and more. I am an experienced oncology counsellor and I have special interest in helping you manage your anxiety.
I am a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Registered Counsellor. I work from two lovely and welcoming practice locations, in Bournemouth Town Centre and Westbourne, Bournemouth. I also offer online sessions via Zoom.

How Can Counselling Psychotherapy Help?
Counselling and Psychotherapy is an opportunity to talk through your worries. I can provide you with that safe space to explore your feelings, a place to be really listened to and heard, without the fear of being judged. I can help you to build confidence in yourself and your ability to manage life’s challenges, developing new tools, as well as discovering ones you already have, as you grow in new and meaningful ways.
Do you struggle to manage anxiety?
You may be finding it hard to manage excessive worry, excessive guilt, over thinking, running over scenarios in your head or ruminating over the past, churning stomach, headaches, insomnia, feeling permanently tired, sweating or irrational fear.
Sometimes anxiety is triggered by a specific event but if anxiety has begun to get in the way of life if can seem as if there is no logic behind your thoughts, feelings and symptoms, making it hard to cope with and understand. Everyday tasks and interactions can seem really difficult, both mentally and physically, often meaning that we avoid doing things we would normally do and importantly things we want to be doing.
I can provide you with a safe and calm space where we can explore your experience of anxiety together, working through your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, as well as developing strategies to help you manage the symptoms of anxiety. Through regular sessions I can help you to feel heard and understood, whilst working towards a point where anxiety is no longer preventing you from living a fulfilling life.
