Qualified Counsellor

I’m a highly motivated, experienced and compassionate counsellor. I trained as a counsellor because I believe that having good mental health is important to being able to have a fulfilled and meaningful life. As an integrative counsellor I have trained to work in a number of different ways that will be tailored to your own individual needs and goals.

My background in cancer counselling and support has allowed me to help clients with a wide variety of worries and issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, disfigurement, body image, self-esteem, sex and intimacy, women’s issue, infertility, relationships, shame, fear and bereavement. I have worked with a range clients from young adults to the elderly.

Below are some of the professional qualifications that I hold:

BACP Registered Member (No 378820)

Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling

Certificate in Counselling

I continue to develop myself with training courses and continued learning in line with professional standards and BACP guidelines. Here are just some of the additional training/CPD that I have done:

Narrative Therapy, Endings and Managing the Client Journey – Wessex Cancer Trust

Prior to training as a counsellor I had a successful career in the commercial and financial industries for 13 years.
